Dresden after bombing
Justice. 7 letters, one word. However a dream of whole the humanity from beginning of the humanity. When we glimpse from the dictionary[1], it says: “Just behavior or treatment”. This essay is actually is not about the definition of a word or linguistic problem solving session. It is about a historic justice approaches and in-justice (not “in” justice, injustice) consequences of unfair human / interstate behaviors. The primary concern of this essay is about; “Some Behaviors during the Second World War That Caused Disaster, Chaos, Tragedy and Injustice Murders of Some States Who Were Not Punished or Even Judged by Courts or Humanity after than the Second World War”. However, I can not put this title to a blog writing, thus I found a cool name like “Injustice League!” like a copy of an overrated movie. (Legal Notice: This is not an advertisement). This essay is a bit “informal” but includes a lot of “serious” information. First part is about Dresden Massacre and the Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Second part is about “trials”. Actually almost all the people who live in the World at the present time know the events that happened in Japan. However Dresden Massacre -or Bombardment- is not famous as it. The sources of this essay are from blogs, academic articles and Wikipedia. But, I add my comments on this essay also. Anyway… Everything is ready, I am ready, I have got my coffee, pushed the play button of the music and so… Let´s begin! 


Dresden
Dresden which is located at the east part of the Germany today was a city that is famous for historical places which has been protected for centuries. During the Second World War, there were not any air defense systems because of the historical importance to keep away from military attacks by Allied Powers. There were not also military factories and huge ammunition depots. Until Dresden Massacre - Bombardment of 1945, Dresden was only city which not bombed or attacked by Allied Powers during II.WW[2]. Because of that “nonaggression” condition, population of the city was increased to 1.2 million during the War. By order of President of the USA Roosevelt and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Churchill, the Dresden Massacre – Bombardment has been started at 13th February 1945 at 22:14. The petroleum reserves of Shell did not bombed at the bombardment, but 25.000 people -according to Allied Powers’ statements, 150.000 - 200.000 according to German sources was killed. 24.866 of 28.410 buildings have been destroyed after than bombardment. (I can’t understand the difference of numbers of people of killed. Because more than 1 million people were living at the city and in my opinion, only 25.000 deaths at this bombardment is impossible. Because at the bombardment %87 of the buildings were destroyed and 25.000 deaths are non-proportional.) Napalm Bombs and Phosphorus Bombs which has effect of heat at 1800 centigrade degree were used at the bombardment. That means some of the people who killed, because of the “anoxia” or “asphyxia” (can’t breathe due to lack of the oxygen)[3]. After than first bombardment at 22:14, second one were implemented on 01:21 when people go out to take bodies. 3900 tons bombs and 200.000 Napalm Bombs were used at this bombardment.

Strategically, this bombardment was unnecessary at all. Because the Allied Powers were so close to Berlin and Germany was almost surrendered. You can see the map of the War in Germany on the date of Dresden Massacre - Bombardment. However, Sir (Sir?) Arthur Harris who was the commander of this bombardment stated that after than the Second World War: “I would have destroyed Dresden again when needed.” Besides that, I will not write about atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in order to not convert this essay to article. You can read a lot of articles and essays on internet. The Nuremberg Tribunals were created to judge the crimes that committed during the Second World War by London Charter of the International Military Tribunal -aka Nuremberg Charter- after than the Second World War, 08.08.1945. The borders of these trials were:
-         As subject: war crimes, crimes against peace and crimes against humanity.
-         As time: 01.09.1939 - 08.08.1945.
-         As Person: Individuals of Axis Powers and groups of them.
-         As Land: Germany, lands that has been invaded by Germany and high seas.
These borders are proof of the injustice jurisdictions. Because the Nuremberg Trials were not included the crimes that has been committed by Allied Powers like Dresden Massacre - Bombardment by USA and UK, Atomic Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by USA (okay I know the International Military Tribunal for the Far East. But our main subject is not that), the Vichy Policy on Jewish Deportation by France, the Nanking Massacre by Japan, Holodomor Genocide (8 million Ukrainian people!) or Soviet killings during the World War II by USSR (genocide with regards to 26 states includes USA and EU) and uncountable other disasters. 

As consequentially, hitler (I know… First letters of proper nouns must be written as uppercase. But that monster is not “proper”.) was a monster and millions of innocent people were killed at this dark era because of him. There is not a doubt about it. 100 %. Not 99.9999 %. If he had not committed suicide, most likely he would have been executed as he deserved. But he was not only responsible leader of war crimes at the Second World War. Hitler’s situation is not the point of this essay. And it is unnecessary also, because there is no doubt about his brutality and ferociousness. The point is, leaders of other countries, Churchill (UK)-Stalin (USSR)-Roosevelt (USA)-Truman (USA)-Vichy (France)-Hirohito (Japan, he was not punished. Yes), were not angels like it was introduced in the movies or documentaries.  We need only thing at the World: Justice -as the overrated situation of it-. Justice for every person, every situation and every time. In short, Justice for all. I wish “just” days. (Days which include justice) That is a call for JUSTICE.
